Accommodation price plus 5% culture tax
The city of Cologne introduced since 1. December 2014 a culture tax. At this time we have to charge a bed tax of 5% of the accommodation price for each guest, which stays not for job-related or educational reasons in Cologne.

For singularly 2,- EUR we provide a face and a shower towel in a set.
For hygiene reasons sleeping bags are not allowed.

We charge a service fee of 5,- EUR for arrivals after 20pm.
Cleaningdeposit
At group booking we charge a deposit of 50,- EUR for the roomcleaning. This is to deposit in cash at the arrival.

In 306 A.D. Kaiser Konstantin I founded the Deutzer fort, named Kastell Divita,

Within these walls 1002 A.D. Based the Benedictine abbey St.Heribert.
After french and prussian Domination, Deutz was incorporated to Cologne in 1888 and finally consulted to the inner-city district in 1954.
You can reach all sights or events in short time on foot, by tram or city train.
The old town is located in less than 1 km distance, crossing the river Rhine. Also the Lanxess Arena east of the Rhine.
The Cologne Cathedral and the central station on the right bank of the Rhine are conveniently situated, also the Cologne exhibition center in less than 2 km.

Our Hostel is located in inner city area of cologne, named Deutz.
We are a quietly situated, small Hostel with different four- and six-bed rooms.
All rooms are being equipped with WC and shower. Our spacious wardrobes are provided with a safety lock.
Our fully equipped self catering kitchen includes two fridges for the shared use, microwave, stove, toaster and kettle. We provide coffee and tea for free.
In our Lounge you will find a TV, board games and an arcade slot machine,
as well as tourist information about Cologne and free city maps.
We cannot offer own places to park bikes or cars.
Our reception is reachable at fixed times and amongst arrengements.
We have no curfew. You get access to our Hostel by keyless-entry 24 hours.
Attractively priced lunch menues you will find at the numerous permises around the Deutzer Freiheit at a distance of only 250 metres.
Washing facilities are nearby at laundrettes.
